WhatsApp versi terbaru bisa kirim lebih dari satu foto sekaligus

Kabar gembira bagi para pengguna Aplikasi WhatsApp yang menggunakan perangkat Android. Update terbaru aplikasi chatting ini sudah meluncur.
Dilansir dari Softpedia (1/8), WhatsApp dengan versi 2.11.12 ini membawa beberapa fitur baru, salah satunya kemampuan untuk mengirim lebih dari foto sekaligus.
Dalam versi sebelumnya, pengguna hanya dapat mengirim satu foto dalam satu kali kirim. Selain itu, dalam update terbaru ini, pengguna dapat mengirim pesan broadcast hingga ke 50 penerima.
Perubahan lain dalam update terbaru ini termasuk setting auto-download media dan beberapa perbaikan bug. Selain itu nada notifikasi dan tampilan emoji juga mendapat perbaikan.
WhatsApp dapat kompatibel dengan perangkat Android 2.1 ke atas. Versi terbaru aplikasi chatting ini dapat diperoleh melalui Google Play Store atau melalui link berikut ini.

Configure Samba Sharing between Ubuntu and Windows (Screenshot Tour)

Install Samba on Ubuntu 12.04/11.10/11.04/10.10/10.04/Linux Mint/other Distro's and share files with samba from Ubuntu to Windows and Windows to Ubuntu

I wrote tutorials on samba sometime ago but some peoples found that is not useful for them or the method couldn't work properly for them, I also made video on samba sharing.

Now I made complete tutorial on samba configuration to share you data from Ubuntu to Windows and also Windows to Ubuntu, Its mean you can access your Ubuntu shared data from Windows and Windows Shared data from Linux Ubuntu with/without permissions. Permission is up to you, if you want to set permission or not.


Install Samba on Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:
sudo apt-get install samba samba-common
sudo apt-get install python-glade2
sudo apt-get install system-config-samba

I made this tutorial on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and Windows 7, It is working on all Ubuntu versions and all Windows Versions.

>> First of all How to access Ubuntu Shared Data from Windows.

Now go to Dash and search for 'Samba' then open it. As shown in picture.

 When Samba Server Configuration open, Click on 'Add +' button then click on browse >home >select user.

 Now go to 'Access' tab and select username from which you want to access sharing.

Now set password on your selected username for samba sharing. Enter following command to set password (change noobslab with your selected username).

Terminal Command:

sudo smbpasswd -a noobslab

 

Now right click on Folder which you want to share on network, then select 'Sharing Options'

 Here is Folder Sharing options, You can choose and write whatever you want to do. Then click on 'Create Share'

 

 

 Now open Terminal and enter following command to know your local network ip. (See the picture below and see red marks)

Terminal Command:
ifconfig

Note your Ubuntu/Linux Machine IP Address

 It's time to access your sharing on Windows, Now go to start and open 'Run' then enter ip with double backslash. Like this (\\192.168.1.3)

Now sharing will open, Now click on shared folders then windows will ask for samba username and password. You can share without username and password it's up to you.

 When you enter the username and password your shared folder will open. You can write/delete/modify whatever you want to do (It's up to your permission implementations).

BlackBerry Messenger di Android Menampakkan Diri

Jakarta - Layanan messaging BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) yang semula eksklusif untuk handset BlackBerry telah dipastikan akan menyambangi ponsel iPhone dan Android. Seperti apa penampilan BBM di Android pun telah bocor.

Media teknologi BGR menerima bocoran screenshot BBM yang sedang berjalan di handset Samsung Galaxy S III. Memang hanya berupa start screen, namun setidaknya bisa jadi gambaran seperti apa BBM di Android nantinya.

Media BlackBerryOS.com juga mengabarkan versi beta BBM untuk Android dan iOS sudah bisa dicoba secara terbatas oleh user yang terpilih. Mereka juga menampilkan seperti apa screenshotnya.

dari MacRumors, Jumat (2/8/2013), BBM dikabarkan mendarat di toko aplikasi Gogle Play dan App Store bulan September. User Android dan iOS pun tinggal mengunduh untuk memakainya.

Belum jelas apa syarat pengguna Android dan iOS agar bisa menggunakan BBM. Apakah tetap memerlukan PIN atau cukup dengan nomor telepon atau email? Masih perlu ditunggu.

CEO BlackBerry Thorsten Heins menjanjikan BBM akan berfungsi maksimal di platform lain. "Kami berkomitmen untuk membuat BBM di platform lain juga punya fitur penuh," tukasnya beberapa waktu lalu.
