Huawei, saingan kami Samsung Bukan Xiomi

 Meski sama-sama berasal dari China, Huawei tak ingin disandingkan dengan Xiaomi. Petinggi Huawei beranggapan yang pantas jadi lawan sepadan perusahaannya adalah Samsung.

Pada tahun 2014 lalu, Huawei dilaporkan berhasil mencatat penjualan sebanyak 75 juta unit ponsel. Tapi meski dengan jumlah penjualan yang terbilang besar itu, nyatanya masih harus memaksa Huawei berjibaku memperebutkan posisi tiga sebagai produsen ponsel terbesar dunia melawan Lenovo, Xiaomi, dan perusahaan China lainnya.

Sedangkan Samsung dan Apple mengisi posisi satu dan dua dengan angka penjualan yang cukup sulit disaingi. Meski bersaing dengan produsen ponsel China lainnya seperti Xiaomi, petinggi Huawei ogah bila perusahaannya disetarakan.

Richard Yu yang merupakan salah satu eksekutif Huawei mengatakan target yang diincarnya adalah Samsung sebagai pemuncak posisi. Bahkan Yu sampai berani mengatakan bahwa Xiaomi tak punya peluang bila berhadapan dengan Huawei, tepatnya di segmen ponsel kelas atas.

Yu lantas mengarahkan pernyataannya ke ponsel Mi Note yang baru dirilis Xiaomi. Menurutnya, ponsel buatan Xiami itu bukanlah lawan sepadan bagi Huawei Ascend Mate7 yang jadi jagoan Huawei. Banyak kelebihan Huawei Ascend Mate 7 yang tak ada di Mi Note. Namun Yu tidak menjelaskan lebih lanjut kelebihan yang dimaksud.

Menurut Yu lagi, Xiaomi pantasnya berkompetisi di ranah ponsel menengah, bukannya di ponsel kelas atas yang diisi oleh Mate7, Ascend P7, dan Honor 6 Plus yang merupakan ponsel flagship Huawei.

Huawei Sell 75 Million Smartphones in 2014, Revenue Up 30 Percent

 





Huawei Consumer Business Group a few moments ago has released its latest financial statements. Division of Huawei's consumer devices are able to record a large increase in revenue in the financial year 2014 and has achieved record revenue of more than 10 billion dollars for the first time to 12.2 billion dollars, up 30% over the previous year.
