Invitation Obama "Rejected" Facebook CEO, Google, and Yahoo

In the midst of the White House merenggangnya relationship with Silicon Valley as a result of the NSA spying, the tech giant three officials decided to be absent from the summit about cyber security held by President Barack Obama.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Yahoo Marissa Mayer, and Larry Page and Eric Schmidt was invited, but none of them would be present at the conference which was held at the Stanford University, this Friday.

All three companies say would send each security chief to attend the event. The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, decided to meet the invitation. President Obama is scheduled to be the keynote speaker.

"We are satisfied with their participation," said White House spokesman Eric Schultz. "Some of the commitments that will be announced in the next few days is quite significant," he continued.

This high-level conference is part of an effort to combat hacker or hackers. The focus will dwell in an effort to increase collaboration between companies and government agencies, to improve cyber security to protect consumers, as well as secure payment processing system.

"(The conference) will hold all parties, both from industry, technology companies, law enforcement, consumers, and advocates the right to privacy, as well as law professor who specializes in the relevant field," Obama said when announcing the agenda of the conference last month.

Themes are used as security at issue underscores the Obama administration's efforts to improve the sharing of information about the threat of hacking, also set a national standard for reporting data leakage.

Even so, Yahoo, Facebook, and Google is still dealing with the cold following the White House expressed espionage intelligence agencies by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden in 2013 ago. Snowden revealed that the NSA intercepts the user's personal data from the three companies that run services.

Currently, Yahoo, Facebook, and Google is trying to convince users of security services, also that their personal information will not be accidentally turned over to the American government.
