Samsung has announced the first chips produced using 14nm 3D FinFET technology. This new technology is much more advanced than the technology they use to 20nm production process Exynos 7 which is currently on the market.
According to Samsung, 3D 14nm FinFET technology they use at 7 Octa Exynos processor is able to push performance up to 20 percent faster and energy consumption levels lower battery to 35 percent, and increase productivity by up to 30 percent.
There is no further information on any device that will use it, but it certainly seems to be undergoing processor debuted on the Galaxy S6 which will present soon.
